Another idea for a future episode: Marge’s dad. We know he was in the Navy, worked as a baby photographer and a flight attendant and was probably the reason Patty and Selma started smoking. According to ancillary, non-show materials, his name was Clancy and he died in a freak roller coaster accident, but the show isn’t beholden to that. He could come back and shake up the family a little bit.
