In the most recent episode, I was struck by how similar Moe’s predicament (RE: his new suit) was to Homer’s hair in “Simpson and Delilah” and Marge’s Chanel suit in “Scenes From the Class Struggle In Springfield.”
“You know, I can’t believe we’re talking about the same movie. I thought McBain was a non-stop rollercoaster of chills, thrills, spills, and kills! And that chase at the end, my friend?”
“Are you nuts? That movie stinks like your creepy one bedroom apartment.”
“Your mother didn’t think it was so creepy.”
“My mother, real mature. I’m sick of your grade school insults.”
(R.I.P. Roger Ebert)
The first and only episode to show the title during the first scene.
I think “The Tell-Tale Head” from season 1, also.
Speaking of “Bart Gets Hit By a Car,” this was the first episode I ever saw, way back in 1991.
